1.The Gateway of India
The Gateway of India was built in the 20th century to perpetuate the visit of King George V and Queen Mark and is the major landmark of Mumbai. It is located at the top of Apollo Bunder. The Gateway of India has a height of 26m and influences the Indo Saracenic style. 2.Marine Drive
This particular tourist spot is also called Sonapur by the locals of Mumbai. It is situated at the foot of Malabar Hill. Marine Drive is 3km long and links Nariman Point to Babulnath.
It attracts a big group of people that March along the walkway.
This place is also called 'Queen's necklace' because the street lights make the road look like one and makes a picture perfect view to adore.
3.Visit the kanheri caves
The modern world of Mumbai has also some hidden ancient sites that will leave you in awe and to see one such, spend a day at Sanjay Gandhi National Park to explore the Kanheri Caves.
It is a cave that was carved out of the basalt formations to become a complex of monuments around 2,000 years ago. Inside the entrance, checkout the stupas, the congregation areas, the prayer halls and the incomplete paintings of Buddha.
4.The Bandra Worli Sea Link
The Bandra Worli Sea link features gorgeous surroundings that is enhanced by the Arabian sea and a view of Haji Ali Dargah. It is a residential area in South Mumbai. It extends from the Worli Fort in the North to Narayan Pujari Nagar in the South.
It is famous for its giant waves that occurs during the monsoon and attracts major amount of tourists and locals. It is a very posh area and features attractions like Worli Fort, Haji Ali Dargah and Bandra Worli Sea Link.
5.The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya Museum
Earlier known as the Prince of Wales Museum in India, The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya Museum is a major tourist interest and one of India's most important art and history attractions.
This museum contains an expansive permanent collection of 70,000 items which includes Himalayan Art, Indian miniature painting, jeweled swords, antique Asian coins and lot more. While you visit this place, make sure you have a day atleast to explore the museum fully.
6.The Global Vipassana Pagoda
If you are mistaken that Mumbai is only a rush in itself then let me introduce you to The Global Vipassana Pagoda, showcasing the peaceful and quiet side of Mumbai. This place is inspired by Myanmar's Shwedagon Pagoda, the colossal 96 meter high stupa is actually covered in real gold and the looks breathtaking under the sunshine.

8.The Mani Bhavan Gandhi Museum

12.The Ancient Caves on Elephanta Island
Elephanta Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mumbai Harbor is a home to rock-cut cave temples honoring the Hindu God Shiva. You have to dedicate a day to visit this place starting from the main city of Mumbai. This island is roughly around 1600 years old, the architecture presenting mandala pattern. The carvings inside the Elephanta Island explains stories of Hindu myths. The crown jewel of the main temple is a 6m high 3m faced Shiva statue.
