How did I reversed my PCOD:
My journey of acting on Pcod started during the first lockdown. After being severely stressed on all the weight and acne and every other symptom that I was diagnosed with, I finally decided to take a step.
Here are my few tips that may help you too reversing your symptom:
1.Cut down your sugar intake:
Guys cutting down on sugar will be the best ever decision that you would make if you are willing to reverse the symptoms.
Sugar is inflammatory in nature and it feeds bad bacteria in your body which also results in signs of early aging and acne.
2.Say a big no to packaged food:
A lot of us loves to munch on our favourite junk in the form of biscuits and chips or chocolates and fail to think on all the consequences that we have to bear later. All these flavoured food holds almost no nutrient capacity and deteriorates PCOD.
3.Workout atleast 4 times a week:
I realised the importance of exercise only after while I saw its impact and benefits on myself. Even if you reduce 5% of your total body weight you see a difference on yourself and even in your menstrual cycle. A good cardio session with some weight training or even a walk of 30 min is what your body is asking for.
I know its easier said to be done but trust me stress is one big factor that must be taken into consideration while you want to work good on your PCOD. It messes up your hormones resulting in extra sugar cravings, a not so good skin and weight gain. To cope with stress one can meditate and enjoy good music.
