What is globalisation?
A process which interconnects the world resulting in massive increased trade and cultural exchange. It includes interaction and integration among people, companies and government worldwide. Its main occurence is due to advancement in transportation and communication technology.
Types of globalisation:
Economic Globalisation---
It is found in the academic literature and refers to the widespread international movement of goods, capital, services, technology and information. It primarily comprises the globalisation of production, finance, markets, technology, organisational regimes and people.
2.Political globalisation---
It creates international rule of law. Its most important feature is that it includes the standardization of global rules around trade, criminality and rule of law. Political globalization is majorly designed by international bodies such as:
United Nations,
European Union,
World Trade Organization
It also helps people meddling in each other's business.
3.Cultural Globalisation---
Cultural globalisation usually means the mix and spread of culture around the world. Different countries spread their culture through the means of television and movies which results in the loss of local and indigenous cultures.
One example is the spread of disney music.
Conclusion
Globalisation is majorly comprised into eight different types. Each type had its own impact of positives and negatives and influences each other in many ways.
